Material testing equipment is used to determine geometric and physical quantities. In most cases, material testers use a known factor or unit to draw conclusions about the measured value/parameter. Measuring tools determine whether the tested object complies with the required conditions or not. In addition to the display of values that enable a real measurement, a statement, i.e. a rating, can also be output. Particularly accurate measuring tools can be used to test other measuring instruments.

Digital calipers (popularly known as callipers), micrometers, thickness gauges, endoscopes, dial gauges can all be found here. Some of these measuring tools have a data interface, corresponding cables and software to record the data obtained by means of the measuring tools and to evaluate them on the computer. Many measuring tools are calibrated and can optionally be equipped with an ISO 9000 calibration certificate.
