The HVAC meter has a measurement range of ±99.9 mA DC. With an accuracy of 0.3% of rdg. +8 digits, the HVAC meter is a particularly accurate measuring instrument. In order to conveniently perform measurements with the HVAC meter, the current clamp itself is connected to a 1 meter / 3.3 ft cable. The current clamp can thus be attached to the cable to be measured. The HVAC meter can be conveniently placed aside at the workplace. This leaves both hands free while reading the measured values, for example to carry out adjustments or configurations on the process technology. Due to the high accuracy and the external sensor, the HVAC meter is ideally suited to make quick and reliable current measurements when process signals are involved.
In order to carry out a current measurement, the current clamp of the HVAC meter must be clamped around the cable to be checked. This allows the HVAC meter to measure the flowing current inductively. This has the particular advantage that a current measurement can be carried out during operation with the HVAC meter.
For improved visibility, the HVAC meter is equipped with an LED. With the LED of the HVAC meter, the measuring spot can be ideally illuminated. Optionally, the HVAC meter can be delivered with an ISO calibration certificate.
